Job Description
Department: Office of the Town Clerk Reporting To: Communications and Public Relations Officer
Duties and Responsibilities
Assisting in developing and implementing the City's communication strategy. Designing and producing publicity materials, e.g. brochures, posters and social media graphics. Managing and updating the City's social media platforms.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications and Experience: - Successful candidates should have the following qualifications and experience: An Honours Degree in Media and Society Studies or English and Communication Studies or a Journalism and Media degree from a reputable institution. At least 25 years and below. Proficiency in graphic designing, e.g. Adobe Creative Suite. Personal Skills and Attributes: Fluency in English, Shona and Ndebele. Excellent organisational, time management and communication skills. Should be highly knowledgeable, analytical and possess problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and produce good working results. Ability to work independently.
