Job Description
INDUSTRIAL TECH (PVT) LTD Industrial Tech is a Zimbabwean industrial supply and solutions company serving the mining, construction and agricultural sectors. The company provides a wide range of industrial products and solutions, with a strong focus on reliability, customer service. Industrial Tech is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Graduate Trainee to join its team.
Duties and Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Assist with accounting system development and improvement initiatives. • Compile, consolidate and conduct basic analysis of accounting and financial information. • Prepare and process accounting adjustments through appropriate journal entries. • Examine financial statements and transactions for completeness, accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards. • Prepare and post accounting entries through appropriate journals. • Participate actively in accounting and finance projects as a team member. • Prepare accurate accounting information for clients, under supervision, in compliance with relevant regulations and agreed service-level agreements (SLAs). • Support fixed-income portfolio accounting activities. • Credit Control.
Qualifications and Experience
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS • A Diploma or Degree in Accounting or a related field. • Internship experience in an accounting or finance environment. • Driver’s licence. • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices. • Good data-entry and record-keeping skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. • Good time-management and organisational skills. • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
